Founded in New Zealand in 2024, NOYIFF is an international film festival and moving-image platform for young creators around the world.

We believe cinema is more than an industry, and more than stories on a screen. It is emotion, thought, rebellion, imagination — a way for a generation to understand the world, express itself, and connect with others.

Today, new visual languages are emerging everywhere: live-action filmmaking, AI creation, hybrid production, vertical storytelling, experimental images, animation, documentary, micro cinema and new media expression. Together, they are opening a freer, more complex and more exciting creative era.

Young people are no longer just audiences. They are filming, generating, editing, writing, questioning and challenging. They are using images to define their own time.
